Dear Faithful Friends,

Ministry Opportunities

The Lord has been good to allow us to continue to be involved in His work. Our ministry is truly different than before. However, the joy of serving our Lord and Savior continues to be the same. For every opportunity to preach and teach the Word of God, we realize how wonderfully blessed we are to be laboring for Him.
During the past two months, Don has been teaching in a men’s Bible study from the book of Genesis. He has been asked to preach and substitute in Sunday School classes in our home church as well as other churches. Recently, a young couple surrendered to missions after a message Don preached on focusing on God, not the giants. The Bible study over the internet continues and our “spiritual grandchild” (last prayer letter) has faithfully participated. There is evidence of growth among those who are studying. Several times now, one of the men has preached and taught in his church.
Work continues with the written material and translation to be published down the road. We are looking for someone who can help us with the publication of a book already written and edited. The person who was going to help with this is unable to do so.

Please be in prayer concerning the web page. As mentioned in the last letter, it is available here in the States but not in Brazil. We have discovered how we can move everything to make it available in Brazil as well but have run into a problem. Our brother-in-law that has been helping us was diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing treatment. His health issue created a pause in the process, and we are unsure if he will be able to continue to help us. Please pray for Mike, he is a wonderful Christian having been converted to Christ from Mormonism. At this point, we are publishing a blog once or twice a week. Our prayer letters are available, and our ministry calendar as well. Anyone interested in scheduling us for preaching or teaching can check there to see what dates we are available.

Prayer Requests

We thank you for your constant prayers. God is truly blessing and using us for His glory. Please pray for:
1.  Praise: Benjamin has been released to return to his ministerial activities without any further surgery.
2.  Praise: Our friend Pastor Nilton Malves had his surgery for prostate cancer and is doing well.
3.  Fernando and Sandra Canato (Friends in Brazil): He is without a job, and her health issues continue.
4.  Mike Johnson, Don’s brother-in-law continues with treatment for cancer.
5.  Our Christian brethren in Brazil and the churches we left there that continue to be firm and faithful.
